  • Register & process guests and their assigned rooms
  • Accommodate guest requests
  • Communicating with hotel staff on the status of guest rooms

Duties and Responsibilities
• Answer telephone, record incoming calls, and take starting time reservations
• Register players and assign them their tee time, making sure all golfers sign daily register
• Collect all money for green fees, programs, rental, and pro shop sales. Issue receipts for all transactions
• Maintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop
• Maintain daily records and reports
• Remain courteous with patrons at all times
• Perform all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of the Park District’s safety program
• Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments

This position is primarily responsible for cleaning public areas, guest rooms and bathrooms. Other duties include stocking supply carts, room deep-cleaning projects, and assisting with other duties as needed. Our Room Attendants are measured by the amount of time it takes to complete their assigned rooms, the quality of their work, and other company goals. The ideal candidate will be a flexible team player who wants to be the bright spot in our customer’s day.
Other key duties include:
• Replenish guest rooms and baths with amenities, supplies, and linen and terry in accordance with Company standards
• Inspect rooms for repairs or fixtures that are not working properly; replace batteries, light bulbs, etc.
• Report requests for repairs to supervisor or maintenance department in accordance with hotel procedures
• After cleaning each room and bath, report room status to front desk

Inspects buildings and equipment for needed repairs and maintenance. Perform  minor repairs to tables, chairs, cabinets, etc. Installs or replaces floor and ceramic tiles. Repairs or replaces electric plugs and cords. Drives vehicles as needed. Moves furniture, file cabinets, equipment, etc. using hand dollies. Performs service on pumps, air handlers, cooling towers, etc.  Repacks, changes oil/filters, lubricates, etc. Operates drills, buffers, grinders, sanders, etc. Operate various power saws, i.e., radial arm, skill, etc. Operates acetylene cutting torch, welder, etc. Performs basic plumbing installations/repairs i.e., install and repair faucets, unclog drains, replace valves, etc. Measures using tapes, transits, levels, etc.  Performs semi-skilled carpentry work in the construction and repair of walls, ceilings, etc. knowledge of HVAC.
